Yes. The ONIX Pram is suitable to use for newborns.

We recommend you use the COSY Bassinet or Newborn Pod to provide additional support for your newborn, which can be purchased together with your ONIX Pram with a saving or purchased separately in the future.

Both the COSY Bassinet and Newborn Pod adhere to recommendations from baby sleep experts, which advise that newborns should sleep on a flat surface while their spine and neck muscles develop, and in a space with adequate airflow.

Alternatively, you can use the seat in the fully reclined position with the seat harness for your newborn.

Yes. The ONIX is baby car seat compatible. You will need to purchase the ONIX Baby Car Seat Adaptors sold separately.

No. The ONIX pram cannot be taken on board as carry-on luggage. However, it can be checked in as part of your under-carriage luggage.

If you are looking for a pram to take travelling (locally or abroad) we recommend our SKIP² Stroller, which can be taken on board* as carry-on. Our AERON Pram is also an excellent option for travelling with its compact and lightweight design that has all the features of a larger pram in a smaller size (including reversible seat, large basket and extra-large canopy). The AERON Pram still needs to be checked in.

*Always check with your carrier before travel.

The ONIX has been designed as a full-sized single pram, balancing comfort, functionality and performance with a lightweight frame. With its unique standing fold, the ONIX can be picked up easily with two hands to place into your boot. It folds with its seat both world and parent-facing, allowing for more space.

We recommend you check the below measurements:

• Folded with seat (parent-facing): H 73cm x W 60cm x L 34cm
• Folded with seat (world-facing): H 73cm x W 60cm x L 43cm

For the most compact fold, we recommend folding in parent-facing mode.

While both prams feature unique and market-leading functionality, the main difference between the two is that the ONIX is a full-size, all-terrain single pram while the AERON is an agile, compact urban pram.

With its all-terrain functionality, the ONIX has larger front and rear wheels and suspension designed to handle rougher surfaces. Being a full-size pram, it also has a larger seat to carry taller children, a large 10kg capacity basket and footrest. The AERON has an easy-access 8kg basket and adjustable canopy height to accommodate taller children as they grow. The AERON has smaller front and rear wheels designed for urban adventures.

Both the ONIX and AERON feature an innovative, one-hand fold in parent or world-facing positions, providing maximum convenience and ease. Designed for all-seasons comfort, the ONIX and AERON both feature a large mesh panel on the back panel of their seats, with seat pad included and an extra-large sun canopy with mesh panels. Both prams are suitable for newborns when used with the optional COSY Bassinet or Newborn Pod. Alternatively, both prams can use their seats in the fully reclined position with the seat harness for your newborn.

Step 1:
Remove the carrycot or baby car seat from the pram, ensuring you leave the carrycot or baby car seat adaptors attached to the pram frame.

Step 2:
Stand behind the handle and locate the lever on each adaptor and push downward at the same time to activate the fold.

Step 3 (optional):
For a more compact fold (when using the baby car seat), remove the adaptors from the frame once the frame is folded.

Yes. The ONIX seat must be attached to the frame to activate the fold. The seat can be attached either parent or world-facing to fold.

To fold, locate the latch at the top of the seat back, slide the frame fold latch left or right, and pull the seat recline upwards.

Note: Accessories with either ‘AERON’, ‘JIVE/ METRO’, ‘SKIP’ or ‘NUVO’ in their product name are not compatible with the ONIX Pram.

For the most compact fold, we recommend folding the ONIX with the seat parent-facing.

Occasionally when folding, the wheels may come into contact with the frame and stop the fold before it locks into place. Simply pick up the pram using the handle and click into its folded position.
